    • Story #306: Music August 29, 2010
Kate Vogele is someone I'll be listening to for a long time. Her music rocks! I love love love her style, lyrics, and of course, music. I discovered her unintentionally after listening to S.H.E's 爱就爱了(S.H.E is a popular girl group in Taiwan by the way). I realized S.H.E were doing the cover for Kate's song, "Angel" so I had a listen […]

Hi peeps! How's your week? Mine was so much fun, so much driving, so much instant food, so much nature, and so much sight-seeing. I've taken about 1000 pics in about a week. I would've taken more if I weren't in the car so much. Oh ya, our road trip took us to Grand Teton, Yellowstone, Glacier National Park, Calgary, Banff, and Yoho Natio […]

    • Story #303: Southern Utah weekend August 11, 2010
Last weekend, I skipped class (the class talks about nothing important anyways), and drove the 3 hour back to our beloved Toquerville and St.George. St.George was okay, Toquerville was fantabulous! I got to see my buddies, Max and Nikki. Max still smells as bad and Nikki seemed to be so quiet. I'm sure Max still remembers me even after the 2 month absen […]

    • Story #302:Ahh...the field of purple that makes my heart sing August 6, 2010
On the same day that we went tubing in Provo Canyon, Mr.L and I went to the Lavender farm in Mona. Because I have so many friends in Europe (most of them are my high school friends who went there for college) and I go to some Chinese forums where hundreds of Chinese students in Europe post their pictures every single day, I came to know and fall in love with […]

    Sharon’s Blog Rocks!

    Wednesday, May 21st, 2008

Hey everyone, go check out Sharon’s Blog. She just added a post that talk about her feelings on the engagement. It actually made me cry haha. But don’t worry, they were happy tears! This is a lot, I mean, I never cry. Except at the temple… and when I am happy with Sharon. Anyways, now that I have made a fool of myself, you have to go check it out!

    Bored without Sharon….

    Thursday, May 15th, 2008

Well, today I stayed at home. All day. I was soooo bored! I applied for some jobs online. I studied ASP.Net tutorials for my job. I studied Chinese. I updated my blog. I filled out VISA forms for Sharon. Then…. MY COMPUTER FROZE! It actually has been freezing a lot lately. (Funny thing how we call it freezing when what is really happening is the computer is over-heating). I decided that I had had enough of it so I decided to clean out my computer. I don’t mean erasing files I don’t use (I just stick files I don’t use in a folder called ‘Stuff’). I mean cleaning the dust off of my CPU. Simple enough in a Desktop PC, so how hard could it be for a laptop? Shouldn’t be too hard, I reasoned. 2 hours and countless screws later… I am facing this:
Turns out that in order to get to the CPU of a laptop, you first have to take out all the screws on the whole laptop, remove the Hard Drive, then the DVD drive, then the Keyboard, then the Screen (yes, the screen!), then the speakers, then the motherboard, then the fan, then the heat sink, then finally you arrive at the CPU. As I had suspected, the Heatsink was super dusty. So I tried cleaning it off, but it wasn’t getting anywhere, so I decided to run to Radio Shack and get some of that Airspray stuff and also the CPU coolent formula you smear on the CPU and the Heatsink. Then after cleaning it up all nice, I put it all back together. At the end, I had a few extra screws and a wierd shaped metal thing. Oh well, my laptop works now and it hasn’t frozen yet, so I am happy! Anyways, what a boring thing to blog about, right?
Well, if you want something boring to do, try filing for a K1 Fiance Visa. Not only is it confusing as heck, but it is so exciting it almost put me to sleep. @.@ And it is super complicated. I hope I can get it all done in time.
I wish I could just marry Sharon and be done with it, but there is actually a lot of paperwork and processes that must be done. I love her so much though, it is definitely worth it. Anyways, it is my bed time now (I only got 3 hours of sleep last night, so I’m turning in early tonight (midnight)).
Oh yeah, you should go check out Sharon’s blog if you haven’t already. The address is http://eewen.co.nr. She has a cool Glog that she made of us, it is the first post I think. Go check it out!
Short update: I got a haircut two days ago for a job interview I had in St George. I really hope I can get that job. My hair is really short again, like a missionary :X
And! I added a video of Sharon at Zion Canyon, for all of you who wonder what she sounds like: Sharon at Zion

    The Proposal

    Tuesday, May 13th, 2008
This is just after I proposed, at the Wishing Well!

    From Disneyland Trip

After the parade, I took Sharon to the Wishing Well by Cinderella’s Castle. I gave her a coin and we each made a wish or two. Then I gathered up my courage and confessed my love to Sharon, knelt down and asked her if she would marry me! I was sooooo nervous! She was in shock I think but she said YES really quickly. At least she didn’t have to think too hard about it, eh? I was in love with her for such a long time already. I want to spend the rest of my life with this amazing, beautiful girl. It was my last day with Sharon before she went back to her home in Malaysia. I wished that she would say yes when I threw in my coin, and she wished that she could spend the rest of her life with me. It looks like Disney Land really is the place where dreams come true! I was so happy that I cried, and Sharon was crying too. We hugged and kissed and asked someone to take our picture by the well. It was the happiest day of my life. I can’t wait to marry this special special girl. On the way home, I called my mom and we tried to call Sharon’s mom, but no answer. We were both so happy!

    Disney Land and…… I’m Engaged!!

    Saturday, May 10th, 2008

In California, we stayed with my Aunt Joleen and her family. My uncle Randy was out of town. We didn’t spend much time there, except for sleeping. We were very tired our whole trip because each day we were running all over the place and having so much fun. On Thursday, we went to Disney Land. We met up with Kurt, one of my room mates from Hawaii, who now works at Disney Land, and he was able to get us in for cheaper than normal. So we got two Park Hopper tickets (meaning we could go to both parks, Disney Land and California Adventure Park). We went on some rides with Kurt in the morning and early afternoon. We went to Pirates of the Caribbean first, then Big Thunder Mountain, then Space Mountain, then Snow White, then Indiana Jones. We were having a riot of a time. It was soooooooooo much fun. Sharon and I were laughing out loud all day. We then went to check out California Adventure Park. First, we went to the Tower of Terror. It was a lot of fun going up and down so fast. Then we ate some lunch which aunt Joleen had packed for us. Then we went on Soarin over California, which was very breath taking. Then we split off from Kurt and went on our own for the rest of the time. We went to Grizzly Peak, which was awesome! I got pretty wet from that. Then we went to the cars ride, which was a lot of fun as well Sharon was screaming the whole ride haha. Then we went to see the Aladdin Musical Show in the theater. It was really good. The genie was really funny. We took lots of videos of that. Then we ran to the rollercoaster with our fast passes. We went straight to the front of the line and got on. It was a ton of fun. Sharon was scared haha. Then we went to see the Parade for Pixar. It had characters from Toy Story, Bugs Life, Monsters Inc, Nemo, the Incredibles, and more. It was really cool. Then we went back over to Disney Land and went to Splash Mountain as our last ride. We waited in line for a while, but it was worth it. It was a lot of fun and I got soaking wet. After that, we went to see the Disney Land parade. It was so cool seeing all of the characters and we had a lot of fun.
On the way home, I called my mom and we tried to call Sharon’s mom, but no answer. We were both so happy! When we got back to Aunt Joleen’s, we were ready to sleep, haha. Sharon told some of her friends on MSN. I told my Aunt and Ryan.
The next day, I took Sharon to the LAX Airport. It was soooooo sad to see her go! I miss her soo much. I am going to call her every day. She flew to Hawaii. Brandon and Vicky met her at the airport and took her to Laie so she could sleep for the night. Then in the morning, Brandon took her back and put her on the plane to Malaysia. I am so glad for friends like Brandon. I drove home to Utah by myself for 6.5 hours. It was a long and lonely drive.
Anyways, here are some pics from Disney Land:

    Las Vegas

    Wednesday, May 7th, 2008

On Tuesday we relaxed at home and packed Sharon’s bags. Then on Wednesday we drove to Vegas. It was a lof of fun in Las Vegas going to see all of the Casinos. Sharon wore some bad shoes so her feet were killing her by the time it was done. We took a lot of pics and some videos. We were pretty worn out by about 5:30 so we decided to keep on driving to LA. Here are some pics:

    Salt Lake City

    Thursday, May 1st, 2008

Then on Tuesday, we rented a car and drove up to Provo to meet one of Sharon’s friends. We ate at Chuck-A-Rama and then continued on to Salt Lake City. We saw all of the sites again, the Temple, the Tabernacle, the Visitors Center, etc. We also ran in to two more of Sharon’s friends who were there serving missions on Temple Square. So that was pretty cool. We took a ton of pictures and checked out the mall, then we headed back home. We got back around 1 am. It was a fun trip. We also got to see the BYU Campus and the MTC. Here are some pics:

We did a few other cool things, like going to Lia’s house for a lunch with some of Sharon’s friends on Saturday, and going to some caves with Paul and Nikki on Friday. Chris is dating a Korean Girl who is friends with Lia, who is Sharon’s friend. So it is a small world, I guess. Haha. On Sunday, we had a big dinner with my family. Everyone came over to our house and got to meet Sharon. It was cool to see everyone again. Then on Monday, we went Kayaking with Chris and his girlfriend at the Sand Hollow Reservoir. Here are some pics of that:
